Yangsuri in Fall

I took this video and the shots below on my iPhone on a recent trip to Yangsuri.  I wish I had had my Nikon with me, but the iPhone got the job done all right.

 

 

Getting there: Just take Line 1 from either Yongsan or Oksu stations, and head way out east.  It’s the second stop after you pass through a long tunnel.  Get off at Yangsu Station and head down the hill, towards the water.

Yangsuri (Town of Two Waters)

This neighborhood gets its name from the nearby confluence of the North and South Han Rivers.  It is one of the most beautiful spots in Korea.  Getting there is cheap too!  Just take Line 1 (중앙선) all the way east to Yangsu Station.  The ride out of the city along the Han River is just about the most scenic route anywhere on the subway system.
